This particular adaptation of the poem "Eneide" puts on the stage a character already modern in his shades and in his virile acceptance of the duty. An "Enea" who has the faces of all the refugees wandering for a new life, a new country. This wants to be a way to draw the attention of public to the important topic of integration.
Natural scenery is the suggestive monuments which glorified the Emperor Augusto's greatness and sealed Enea as mythical progenitor of the Roman people.
Fragments, illuminations, tastings, distillations from the biggest ancient poem, symbol of the dramatic trip to search for a land. Emigration, integration, hope. Roman people were born from the fusion of different cultures, paid with tragedy, love and blood. |
